Garden designer Jo Thompson and Merriments Gardens in Hurst Green will be working in partnership with the Demelza Hospice Care for Children charity to design a Courtyard garden for this year’s Chelsea Flower Show.

A new display has opened this week at award winning Yesterday’s Word in Battle which focuses on what life was like for evacuees during World War II. 

The new display coincides with 2009 being the 70th anniversary of the start of World War II.
