Bodiam Castle

Spam, Jam and Rations at Bodiam Castle’s 1940’s Weekend

The two fun filled days will recreate everyday life in wartime Britain as well as celebrate the 70th anniversary of Bodiam Castle’s World War II “Pillbox”, which was built in the 1940’s as part of Britain’s defence.

The event is in partnership with the Kent & East Sussex Railway, who have their annual 1940’s event running over the same weekend at Tenterden station, creating an ideal opportunity to enjoy 1940’s events at Tenterden Station before steaming onto Bodiam station and taking the short walk to Bodiam Castle where the 1940’s theme continues.
